What Is a Hyperstore?

A Hyperstore is a next-generation data system that goes far beyond traditional databases. It integrates the essential capabilities of:

  • A vector index for AI
  • A schema enforcement system
  • A provenance engine
  • A validation engine
  • A workflow/automation engine
  • An encryption and privacy-preserving layer
  • A file and binary storage layer
  • A multi-tenant identity-aware environment
  • A code-generation platform

All of these are unified under a single declarative schema, which Vektagraf uses to generate both server-side logic and client SDKs.

A Hyperstore is therefore not a database, it is a data operating system.
