Architecture Overview (Board-Level)

A Hyperstore consists of three integrated layers:

Storage Core

  • Data blocks
  • Index blocks
  • Write-ahead log (WAL)

Semantic Engine

  • Object fabric
  • Graph relationships
  • Vector embeddings
  • Binary and file blocks

Intelligence and Governance Layer

  • Provenance
  • Automations & workflows
  • Validation engine
  • Internationalization
  • Tenant isolation
  • Encryption & privacy
  • Access policies
  • Code generation

Each upper layer directly understands and governs the layers beneath it—unlike traditional databases, which treat governance, validation, and workflow as external services.
